Cancellation/No show

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, that’s absolutely fine. We all have to from time to time, all we require is a minimum of 24 hours notice, as a courtesy to both our hairstylists and other clients.

As a courtesy, we will allow you to cancel or reschedule your appointment once in a 12 month period within 24 hours. However, continued failure to give at least 24 hours notice or failure to attend your booked appointment may result in a 50% service cancellation fee to secure any future appointments.

Booking fee

When booking all hair services, a 25% booking fee will be required at the time of booking, this will then be redeemed against your appointment.

Booking fees can be made online, over the telephone, or at the salon. If you decide to cancel your appointment, a refund will be issued in the original payment method.

Please note, cancelling or rescheduling your appointment within our 24-hour cancellation policy may result in your booking fee not being refunded.

Colour Service Guarantee

We adhere to strict standards of health and safety within the salon, in accordance with the regulations set out by our suppliers and accrediting bodies. We reserve the right to refuse a colour service if it is our professional opinion to do so.

We endeavour to achieve a colour result as close to the target tone/shade as possible. Due to the individuality and uniqueness of each person’s hair type and make-up, colour services are undertaken with the understanding that the final results may differ from the target colour.

In the event that you are not satisfied with your colour, the salon will be notified and a follow-up appointment attended within two weeks of the original service. In the first instance, the follow-up consultation will be scheduled with the original colourist, assisted by a more senior team member if deemed appropriate.

If the hair has been subsequently coloured at another salon or at home before completion of the follow-up consultation and assessment of the hair, we reserve the right to refuse a re-colour or offer a refund for the disputed service.

Gift Cards

Gift cards can not be exchanged for cash. Gift cards are non-refundable. Gift cards may be used for any service or product offered and in stock at the time of use. Gift cards will not be accepted if damaged, copied, or defaced. Gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Gift cards are only valid in the salon of which they are purchased.

We can not replace lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards. No cash change will be given; any unused balance will remain on your gift card for future use within the 6 month validation period. Gift cards can not be used to purchase other gift cards. If the transaction amount exceeds the gift card balance the recipient must pay the remaining amount by cash or credit/debit card.

Samuel Oliver Limited reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Recommend a Friend

After your first visit to the salon, recommend a friend who hasn’t been to Samuel Oliver, then you will both receive 25% off your next Cut & Blow-Dry. A ‘Recommend a Friend’ SMS or card must be presented by your friend on the first visit to the salon in order to redeem this offer. All services must be booked with the same stylist.

New Client Privilege Pack

New Client Privilege Packs are valid for new clients that have not visited Samuel Oliver before. All New Client Privilege Packs are non-refundable. Samuel Oliver has the right to change or cancel the offer at any time without any notice. Selected appointments available per day. New Client Privilege Pack is valid with selected stylists. All visits must be with the same stylist.

Visits 1, 2 & 3 can be booked in any chosen order. Visit 1, 2 or 3 can only be used on a Saturday when the pack is purchased for on the same day as the first visit. Visits 1, 2 & 3 are valid Tuesday-Friday before 5pm. Upgrades available from £20.00. The Privilege Pack is valid for six months. All three visits must be used within six months of the Privilege Pack being purchased.

All New Client Privilege Pack clients must have a skin allergy test a minimum of 48 hours prior to any colour service. We have the right to refuse any chemical service booked when a skin allergy test has not been carried out prior to the appointment. If there is a reaction to the skin allergy test, the colouring service can be swapped for a Cut & Blow-Dry service only. Privilege pack visits are not valid in the months of December and May.
